How to Book OSR in Pakistan
Log in to the British Council or AEO/IDP account you used for your original computer-delivered test.
Open your result and select “One Skill Retake”, choose the skill to retake, then pick a date and centre in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad.
Complete the retake within 60 days of your original test date — book as soon as results arrive.
Eligibility Reminders
- Your original test must be computer-delivered IELTS (Academic or General Training) — not paper-based, not IELTS Online
- Only one skill, only once per original test
- The retake must be completed within 60 days of the original test date
- You receive a new Test Report Form combining your original three scores with the retake score — and your original TRF stays valid too

Who Accepts OSR Results from Pakistan?
Pakistani candidates most commonly need IELTS for UK visas, Australian skilled migration and Canada Express Entry — all of which accept One Skill Retake for computer-delivered IELTS (UKVI in selected locations). Many Pakistanis based in the Gulf also test in the UAE, where OSR availability is excellent.
