Visa Requirements
Student Visa
- IELTS is accepted as proof of English for English-taught programmes
- German-taught programmes typically require DSH or TestDaF instead
- Minimum IELTS score varies by university (typically 6.0-7.0)
- Some programmes accept IELTS 5.5 with a conditional offer
Work Visa
- IELTS is not typically required for German work visas
- German language skills (B1-B2) often required instead
